A Christmas Carol - Cast Iron Coal Stove Prop

Cast Iron Coal Stove prop!  Maybe weighs 1 lb.  A whole lot lighter than the real thing.  Total cost $6.

No glue in the glue gun - just melt foam with tip.

Charles Dickens's Violin Prop

Helpful hint: when creating a foam cutting tool from pvc pipe, an old guitar string, and an old power cord, you may want to consider using a surge protector instead of plugging directly into a wall outlet.  It's a bummer to have to replace all of your kitchen outlets from fry-out.  Not that I know.  <gulp>

The graveyard begins...

Thick pink insulation foam, hot glue gun (without any glue in it) to carve the engraved designs, paint, lint from the dryer colored with green & black paint. Easy peasy.  Except that dinner isn't done and laundry needs to be folded.

My grandfather clock prop for A Christmas Carol

Grandfather clock for A Christmas Carol:

My (mostly) finished product!  Still need to add finials to the pvc pipes on top...  Total cost: $11, not counting the paint I found in the basement.  A light will be shined through the back clock face space to illuminate the face.  The clock hands will be movable.
